Healthy Spirit, Inc. is a wellness company that develops
and presents seminars and workshops that promote and maintain a balanced mind,
body and spirit. Educational programs in the areas of health, wellness and
integrative medicine are designed for an individual's personal and professional
well being. These programs can be presented in small group, corporate and
community group settings.

Meditation
Individual and group
meditations can be designed to include mindfulness meditation, guided meditation,
meditation samplers or the Primordial Sound Meditation (transcendental meditation)
course (Total 7 hrs.). Regular
ongoing sessions are provided weekly or monthly for varying lengths of time,
usually 1-2 hrs. per session,
to suit the client's needs. Seminars and workshops can be designed for small
and large group participation. These include educational lectures and experiential
sessions.
Whether someone has never meditated
before or has been practicing any type of silent meditation for a while, each
individual can experience new energy, restoration of balance, serenity and
harmony in their life. Each meditation session allows an individual the opportunity
to discover the silence that creates inner peace and renews energy for challenges
of daily living. Meditation practice is kept on a spiritual level and does
not interfere with anyone's religious beliefs. Dr. Traystman leads each meditation,
individually discusses questions concerning meditation practice and announces
new meditation programs that she provides.
Yoga
The Living Yoga Program is
available for individual and group yoga sessions. Sessions
are one hour or one and a half hours in length. Dr. Traystman
teaches each class and is a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance. The
style of yoga that is taught is called Hatha Yoga in the Svaroopa Style. Svaroopa
yoga is a gentle yoga that works very deep in the body allowing healthy changes
to manifest in one's life. These changes begin in the first session supporting
an individual's progress towards greater health and a state of bliss. A client
will become stronger, more flexible, feel more vital, have greater enthusiasm
for life and feel the effects of deep relaxation. Yoga sessions include body
friendly yoga poses (asanas), yoga breathing, relaxation and integration techniques
and guided meditations. The benefits of yoga include relaxation, stress relief,
inner peace, freedom from tension and pain, increased energy, increased clarity
of mind, youthfulness, strength, renewed joy for life, and integration of
mind, body and spirit.
Embodyment Yoga therapy
brings you to a state of being that allows tremendous self-healing and has
shown a proven ability to make powerful changes that open the body to health
and well being. Each one-hour session
is by individual appointment, and you receive an individual assessment, personalized
treatment and, recommended maintenance program. An individual dresses in non-restrictive,
comfortable clothing during each session and rests in a relaxing position.
A Yoga therapist then places their hands on areas of the body that generate
the most profound and effective healing. The process begins at the base of
the spine. The healing continues for a long time after the treatment is completed
and can help to clear up chronic conditions. The benefits include: stress
relief, relaxation, freedom from tension and pain, greater flexibility and
movement, inner peace and well being.
Self Esteem
A program
series of one hour interactive sessions designed to increase
an individual's self esteem. High self esteem is defined as feeling loveable,
capable and significant. It is key for obtaining a joyful and fulfilling life.
Having high self esteem means failing, learning and trying again instead of
stopping or never trying at all. Sessions include a self assessment of an
individual's current level of self esteem using easy, educational and fun
exercises, seminar presentations, home exercises and other resources for self
awareness and improvement.
The DiSC assessment, a
non-judgmental, self administered and scored psychometric evaluation, is available
at a separate price to complement self esteem sessions. This assessment tool
defines an individual's behavior in a specific environment. Evaluation of
the results supports personal growth in an individual and helps to build strong,
dynamic and creative teams within an organization. The DiSC assessment can
be taken individually or as a group activity in
a full day workshop. Follow up programs to expand the
positive impact from the DiSC evaluation are also available.
Coaching Programs
Personal Foundation
- This 12-week program explores
the basic foundation on which a person's life is built. Each week two topics
are discussed in a 1 ½ hr group session
that allow an individual to discover areas in his/her life that need re-orienting,
cleaning out, expansion, greater fulfillment and increased self care. A personal
foundation manual provides exercises to do in and between sessions to document
an individual's progress. This course will bring about dramatic changes in
a person's goal to achieve a life of effortless living with greater joy!
Attraction - This 4
session course, 1 ½ hrs. per session, provides strategies
to become more irresistibly attractive in life to your family, friends and
professional colleagues. In the traditional American business, you pound the
pavement carrying a hammer in one hand and a baseball bat in the other to
convince clients that they need your business. A newer, more progressive strategy
guides an individual to examine their thoughts, actions and behaviors to become
more congruent with a life of high integrity in order to attract everything
they need in their business and personal life. This course will challenge
your ideas and beliefs about why, how, and what you attract into your life
to lead you to a richer and more fulfilling life!
Empowerment - This 4
session course, 1 ½ hrs. per session, provides tools
for self empowerment. Individuals learn how to access their own power, use
it and accomplish what they want in life. The course covers strategies to
become empowered, how to give yourself personal endorsements, increasing your
personal strength, living life directly and honestly, standing up for your
beliefs and wants and, the power and use of silence in ones' life.

4. Re-Storing Your Energy - One,

Team taught to introduce people to the basics of the healing arts. Each session
includes 1-2 topics such as: craniosacral techniques, Zero balancing, meditation,
Reiki, Healing Touch, self awareness and self empowerment techniques, yoga.

5. Re-Storing Balance - One,

Retreats
Retreats are individually designed
for a client's needs and desires as a complete event or as part of a larger
company event. A consultation meeting is required to plan each retreat in
order to create an event that is unique for each client.
